How it Heals? Is a fanzine exploring plant wisdom, subtle energy and everyday wizardry
brought to life through visual expression and community voices. Plants, nature, food, beauty,
design, and perspectives on the environment and cultural climate of the world around us, all
gathered into a small resource to expand your medicinal knowledge & toolkit.
Issue 002 explores REGENERATION & how we interact with this notion in our daily lives. This issue explores Herbs and Bach Flowers through the lens of emotional and physical
regeneration. Contributing writer Jeanette Ramirez, landscape artist, educator and founder of
Studio Topic, brings her work in regenerative gardening. Our second essay offers an
anthropological and mystical perspective, regeneration as a pattern shared by all cellular life. To exist is to
regenerate. Also featured is an interview with natural wine producer Joan Rubió of Cal Tiques, a
biodynamic winery in the Penedès wine region of Catalonia, where they observe,
respect and work with the rhythms of nature.
